What exactly is Bucket Giving?
We at Arise are committed givers, yet we have few expenses, so 3-4 times a year we choose 4 or 5 Non-Profit causes to gift with our excess. Each recipient who gets a Bucket must have a direct tie to one of our members, who explains their cause to us at the Bucket Sunday service. Each member gets "play currency" (the value of our excess) which they are free to distribute in any bucket as they feel led. It's how we Invest Ourselves in Others.
How Much are We Talking?
In 2022, our first full year of existence, we gave away $22,000.
In the first 9 months of 2023, we've given away $15,000.
We think it's a wise invesment.
